Comprised of four accomplished musicians in the form of singer/bassist Joe Bonson, guitarists Phil Haines and Tom Collett, and drummer Jack Bonson,

Drawing upon influences including Black Stone Cherry, Thunder, and Slash, the lads quickly set about achieving their goal, and were soon found sharing stages with the likes of Chantel McGregor, Toseland, Barns Courtney, and Stone Broken, among others.

Rock is once again rightfully on the rise, and Hollowstar look set to lead the charge into 2018 with riffs fit to grace arenas one day and a truly entertaining live show to match. Since forming in the town of St Ives, Cambridgeshire back in 2015, Hollowstar have been hard at work perfecting their craft, delighting audiences across the country with their heavy-hitting dirty rock sound in the process.

Surging into the top five in the ‘Best New Band’ category at Planet Rock’s 2019 awards, Hollowstar are carving out their own route to the top, paved with hard-hitting riffs and cemented by melodic yet inherently impactful lyrics. Modern, fist-pumping rock at its very finest, Hollowstar combine classic and contemporary influences to create a distinctly infectious sound all of their own which, whilst undeniably drawing upon musical idols past and present, feels altogether unique.
In early 2019 Hollowstar delighted fans with the announcement of their eponymous debut album, released on May 3rd to widespread acclaim. Reaching the top 10 in the iTunes Rock Album Chart and declared one of Classic Rock’s top 30 albums of the year, the album not only led to the band’s first headline UK tour in front of capacity crowds around the country, but also created in-roads into Europe alongside the incredible Skid Row, with the tour kicking off in November ‘19. 2021 saw them come out of lockdown restrictions with a bang with a mammoth 22 date tour with Scottish hard rockers Mason Hill. To close 2022 they joined the mighty Bad Wolves as main support for their UK tour.
